HOMEMADE SAUSAGE ROLLS

This recipe makes 72 pieces (half, third, or quarter the ingredients to adjust to your desire).
Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 0.5 cup stale breadcrumbs
- 1kg beef mince (or desired mince type)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 6 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry
- Sesame seeds
Recipe:
Preheat oven to 200/200 degrees celcius. Line oven trays with baking paper
Combine the onion, breadcrumbs, minces, egg, paste, sauce and parsley in a large bowl.
Cut pastry sheets in half lengthways. Place equal amounts of filling mixture lengthways along centre of each pastry piece. Roll each pastry piece, from one wide edge, to enclose filling. Cut each roll into 6 pieces, place rolles, seam-side down, on trays. Brush with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, cut small slit on top of each roll. Bake for approx. 25 mins.
Serve up and enjoy with a side of salad or steamed/baked vegetables.
