Fine line - 'Eating for health' & 'dieting'


If you’re into health, ditching the diet mentality is pretty well the first step to take toward better health, both physically and psychologically.

Are certain foods feeling forbidden or sinful? Is there guilt and worry attached to consumption of such forbidden foods? This indicates room for discussion around ones relationship with food.

I don’t think we can have conversations about nutrition without having conversations about our relationship to food. Positive health behaviours include a positive relationship with food. In fact, I’d say it’s the most important foundation to build when it comes to having conversations about nutrition.
