Do you honour your hunger?
Try to be aware of your hunger cues over the next week & actively create the
space to honour them.
If you experience barriers to honouring your hunger, or have difficulty identifying the feeling of it, further exploration is something I’d definitely recommend. Remember that your body has a hunger hormone, called Grehlin, and a fullness hormone, called Leptin. These hormones are signals from our bodies alerting us that we need something. Diet culture has created some cognitive distortions for many around honouring hunger & many people I work with fear hunger or have spent years actively ignoring it or trying to suppress it. Remember hunger is literally a biological process. It’s completely normal. Time to normalize a normal process & kick diet cultures deadset weird BS & it’s rules to the curb.
